Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver structural design schemes from inception through to handover to the client.
  • •Provide technical leadership on multi-disciplinary design projects from concept through to detailed design in coordination with architects, engineers, and specialist consultants.
  • •Lead and/or participate in tender bids and business development opportunities, including participation in fee agreements and managing the commercial position.
  • •Resolve technical issues using independent judgement and oversee processes to ensure risks and technical issues are addressed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • •Mentor and develop junior team members and support sustainable structural design, including net zero carbon, MMC, and DfMA solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven track record delivering design on major projects, particularly concept design and project inception stages.
  • •Project management and technical delivery leadership experience for medium to large schemes.
  • •Degree or HNC/HND qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • •Chartered status (MIStructE / MICE).
  • •Solid structural engineering design experience across all materials, including knowledge of national codes and standards and use of structural design software.
