Key Responsibilities

  • •Own reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness of cloud infrastructure, including ongoing health through maintenance, upgrades, and retirements.
  • •Lead technical launch of dedicated single-tenant hosting, including tenancy/isolation model, provisioning, upgrades/patching, operational tooling, and per-tenant cost modeling.
  • •Own Helm charts and the Terraform provider as products, ensuring versioning, documentation, testing, and compatibility across supported deployment topologies.
  • •Own CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code pipelines, enabling a supported path from empty repo to production with standard pipelines and observability defaults.
  • •Define production-ready standards (tests, observability, documentation, runbooks) and lead formal incident response with severity definitions, rotation, runbooks, and blameless postmortems.

Key Requirements

  • •Have led infrastructure, platform, or SRE teams with direct accountability for production reliability, and remain hands-on enough to review and set architectural standards.
  • •Deep Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform experience in enterprise settings, with strong opinions about infrastructure-as-code from operating it.
  • •Have shipped infrastructure that customers deploy and run, including ownership of versioning, backward compatibility, upgrade paths, and support for customer-deployed components.
  • •Possess real security depth and can lead security architecture discussions during design review.
  • •Have built incident response and handled complex incidents, including those involving customer infrastructure.
