Solicit residential first mortgages by building relationships with realtors, builders, and developers, then interview applicants and make credit decisions. •Handle and follow up on referrals from the branch office and develop referral contacts.
•Interview applicants, take borrower applications, and analyze financial data to determine creditworthiness.
•Use daily rates, credit reports, and DU responses; transmit information to the processor.
•Maintain customer service levels, collect documentation, deliver loan packages to the processor, and attend lending meetings as required.

Key Requirements

•Equivalent to a four-year college degree plus 4 years related experience and/or training, with 2 years related management experience (or equivalent combination).
•Analyze financial data to determine creditworthiness and make credit decisions.
•Take borrower applications and collect appropriate documentation for each applicant.
•Maintain knowledge of available loan products, processing procedures, and underwriting guidelines.
•Complete BSA/AML and other compliance training as required.
