Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the key, day-to-day client interface and ensure client objectives are met through value-added cost management.
  • •Estimate and plan costs, produce and present final cost plans, and provide commercial input to design optioneering and value engineering exercises.
  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders across the construction lifecycle; reconcile changes and assist the general contractor to ensure accurate data.
  • •Manage post-contract cost variances, change control processes, contingency management, commitment tracking logs, and cost auditing/validation.
  • •Prepare monthly cost reports and support final account negotiation and agreement; compile built cost records for benchmarking and mentor talent.

Salary: USD 135,000 - 165,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in cost management within the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards RICS is preferred.
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium or large construction projects of medium to high complexity.
  • •Strong knowledge of construction procurement routes, value management, and value engineering; excellent communication skills.
