Key Responsibilities

  • •Create new features and build tools from conception through release to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • •Design and develop highly scalable software running on Akamai infrastructure.
  • •Develop frontend and backend capabilities to enhance engineering productivity for vulnerability management.
  • •Design, maintain, and scale multi-platform build systems, optimizing build performance and dependency management across target architectures.
  • •Partner with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions and contribute ideas to process-improvement sessions.

Key Requirements

  • •+5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
  • •In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming including Python, Java, Go, or C/C++.
  • •Experience with multi-platform build generators (CMake, Bazel, Cargo, or Meson) and configuring C/C++ compilers (GCC/Clang).
  • •Hands-on experience with toolchains and sysroots for multi-architecture compilation targets (AArch64/ARMv8/ARMv9 and Intel/AMD).
  • •Experience with service-oriented architecture, REST, microservices, databases, and SQL, plus CI/CD tools (e.g., Cloudbees CI/Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab).
