Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead new product development from concept generation through design, validation, and production launch.
  • •Identify technical risks, lead problem-solving, and drive corrective actions throughout the development cycle.
  • •Own mechanical and structural design of products and subsystems, including strength/structural analysis and tolerance analysis.
  • •Lead design reviews, prototype builds, and engineering validation activities; develop concepts, 3D models, detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • •Apply DFM/DFA and partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Sourcing, Product Management, and Test Engineering to support product launch, value engineering, and cost optimization.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •8+ years of experience in new product development related to hydraulic tools and pipe wrenches.
  • •Proven experience delivering mechanical/structural design, engineering analysis, and product commercialization against quality, schedule, and profitability targets.
  • •Strong foundation in structural/mechanical design, strength/mechanical calculations, and theoretical engineering analysis.
  • •Proficiency in 3D/2D CAD and engineering drawing standards; knowledge of manufacturing processes and DFM/DFA.
