Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead overall program strategy and execution for a complex scientific computing environment supporting hundreds of FDA scientists and lab teams.
  • •Translate FDA scientific and regulatory mission needs into computing capabilities, modernization strategies, investment priorities, and action plans.
  • •Serve as senior client-facing leader engaging FDA scientific leadership, OIMT, CORs, researchers, and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • •Develop and maintain program plans, reporting structures, risk management processes, and governance frameworks aligned to FDA expectations.
  • •Oversee coordinated delivery across technical workstreams including HPC operations, scientific infrastructure, storage, cloud services, cybersecurity, bioinformatics support, and scientific workstation environments.

Key Requirements
