Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, operationalize, secure, and monitor Azure data processing systems to support data-driven decision making.
  • •Partner with business analysts and solution architects to understand use cases, data needs, and outcome objectives.
  • •Deliver data acquisition, transformation, cleansing, conversion, compression, and loading into data lakes for analytics and machine learning.
  • •Support customers in Big Data projects and maintain a bridge between Data Science and Data Engineering.
  • •Monitor distributed infrastructure using Azure tools or open-source solutions and share innovative improvements with the team.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience on Azure, with experience in a cloud-native environment across major public clouds (GCP/AWS/Azure).
  • •Knowledge of Big Data architectures with experience building and delivering proofs-of-concept to address business needs.
  • •Azure infrastructure and networking experience, including migrating workloads from on-premise to cloud.
  • •Programming and automation experience with Java, Scala, Python, shell scripting, plus SQL knowledge.
  • •Working knowledge of Agile methodology and Kanban, and experience leading medium teams.
