Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a proactive backup to the Shift Supervisor by collecting and communicating critical operational information, including machine functionality, materials levels, and production priorities.
  • •Lead shift huddles to share daily production information and a safety topic, ensuring alignment and an efficient shift start.
  • •Assist the Production Supervisor with conflict resolution between personnel and schedule/communicate machine assignments based on the production schedule and labor constraints.
  • •Observe production operations to confirm machine functionality, appropriate production volume, and adherence to operational and safety procedures; identify and report issues.
  • •Maintain up-to-date operations data (production hours, machine downtime, material levels, scrap records) and support training, attendance tracking, and timely updates to supervisors.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) or at least one month of related experience (or equivalent education and experience).
  • •Prior experience in production/manufacturing and at least 1 year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • •Basic to advanced skills with MS Office to complete reports and navigate multiple platforms/features.
  • •Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly.
  • •Ability to work in a plant production environment (indoor/outdoor), including exposure to noise and dust and proximity to hot equipment.
