Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide legal support across the full lifecycle of AMD data center transactions, including site selection, leasing, credit support transactions, and ongoing operations while managing landlord-tenant and facility operator relationships.
  • •Support capital markets and structured finance transactions funding data center and infrastructure programs, including project finance, secured borrowing facilities, equipment financing, and securitization structures.
  • •Review and negotiate electricity infrastructure and supply agreements, including power purchase agreements, interconnection agreements, and related utility arrangements.
  • •Advise on energy regulatory matters and market-specific risks affecting data center power procurement and operations in partnership with Engineering and Facilities.
  • •Coordinate outside counsel and develop scalable templates/playbooks for recurring data center, infrastructure, and energy transactions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 195,020 - 334,320 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive legal experience with complex commercial real estate, data center, or digital infrastructure transactions, ideally with data center providers, hyperscalers, colocation operators, or similar developers.
  • •Experience supporting or advising on capital markets and structured finance transactions (e.g., project finance, secured lending, securitization, investment-grade debt) tied to data center, technology infrastructure, or power generation assets.
  • •Energy and infrastructure experience, including electricity transactions, power purchase agreements, interconnection and utility arrangements, and data center power/cooling requirements.
  • •Practical understanding of commercial real estate concepts including leasing, development, construction, lending, title, zoning, and land use.
  • •Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school preferred and active membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar desired.
