Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely unload and store incoming recovered scrap material and recovered fiber, and maintain housekeeping in the beater room and yard area.
  • •Unload baled recovered fiber using a fork truck with a clamp attachment and move/store loose recovered fiber using a Caterpillar T-12 tractor with a clamp attachment.
  • •Load fiber onto hydrapulper conveyor and haul bales from storage to temporary storage areas for later shifts.
  • •Operate a Hyster 8000 clamp truck and a Toyota 4500 fork truck to load/unload materials and transport items across the mill while following safety rules.
  • •Keep storage areas and aisles clean and orderly, report damage or unsafe conditions immediately, and perform other assigned duties.
