Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage a caseload and provide tailored, trauma-informed support to eligible non-citizens.
  • •Support vulnerable clients through risk assessment, case planning, and interventions.
  • •Provide accurate, impartial, culturally appropriate information about RRAP and voluntary return.
  • •Coordinate client activities, approved travel arrangements, and departure support.
  • •Maintain accurate case records, reports, and performance information, and build relationships with stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in case management, particularly with vulnerable clients or people with complex needs.
  • •Strong empathy, cultural competence, and emotional intelligence to support sensitive, high-needs situations.
  • •Ability to manage sensitive matters, recognise risks, and exercise sound judgement.
  • •Strong organisation, prioritisation, and communication skills for accurate case work and coordination.
  • •A relevant Diploma or Bachelor qualification (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Behavioural Science, Social Science, or Community Services), plus required certifications and checks: current unrestricted driver’s licence, First Aid and CPR, Mental Health First Aid (or ability to obtain), and a Working with Children Check.
