Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with the Senior Production Engineer to develop strategic direction and initiate operational improvements.
  • •Ensure compliance with all relevant facility policies, systems and processes.
  • •Design, develop and use equipment to safely manufacture explosives and quality products for customers.
  • •Support and assist with the implementation of best practice manufacturing techniques.
  • •Support safe, reliable and efficient operations within a major hazard facility (including rostered and office hours coverage).

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering degree in a chemical, process or mechanical discipline.
  • •Chartered professional engineer, or on the pathway to achieving chartership.
  • •Demonstrated experience in a major hazard facility delivering minor projects in line with relevant industry standards.
  • •Understanding of production and maintenance management principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and project management practices.
  • •Ability to work with the Senior Production Engineer to develop strategic direction and initiate operational improvements.
