Job Summary

Senior HV cable design and delivery role leading multi-discipline projects. Design, install, and maintain HV cable systems; provide technical leadership on proposals, CYMCAP analyses, and compliance with IEC/CIGRE standards. Manage site assessments, coordinate teams, and ensure on-time delivery with quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, manufacture and test HV cables for HVAC and HVDC projects
•Provide technical leadership for cable design, assessments and proposals
•Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex transmission projects
•Conduct site surveys, tests, and commissioning support for HV cable systems
•Prepare technical documents and calculations using CYMCAP and related tools

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline, preferably Electrical or Power engineering
•15+ years of experience in design, manufacture and testing of HV cables for HVAC and HVDC projects
•UK Projects and Standards experience is an added advantage
•Leading and mentoring teams, independently managing projects, delivering complex design solutions and ensuring on-time delivery
•Knowledge of IEC cable standards, CIGRE technical policies, and capability to act as a cable expert
