Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise day-to-day electrical construction activities by BoP and contractors, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, and standards.
  • •Ensure electrical construction meets Health, Safety & Environmental regulations and project QHSSSE requirements, including permits to work, isolations, and LOTO arrangements.
  • •Oversee installation and testing of MV cable systems and electrical works at substations, including primary/secondary equipment, cable routing, control and protection systems, auxiliary systems, and earthing.
  • •Support supervision of HV and grid-connection works, including transmission line interfaces, testing, shutdown planning, first energisation, and handover activities.
  • •Monitor contractor progress, witness inspections and testing, manage NCRs/punch-lists, and prepare and hand over electrical as-built documentation and completion dossiers.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a closely related discipline.
  • •5+ years of relevant site construction experience in renewable energy, power generation, substations, transmission, or large industrial projects, with hands-on electrical supervision experience.
  • •Experience with MV cable systems is required.
  • •Relevant electrical safety, HV/MV, or construction HSE certification is highly desirable.
  • •Driving Licence.
