Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients; sell, deliver, and provide ongoing service for fee income and retail banking products and services.
  • •Establish and update understanding of client financial needs and conditions using personal financial planning analysis; work with financial advisors on investment accounts for adherence to objectives and policies.
  • •Stay current on economic, legal, and investment trends affecting clients; serve as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients and their CPAs.
  • •Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by developing new clients, expanding services, and marketing new products; monitor and maintain sales activity and pipeline using the bank’s contact management system.
  • •Collaborate with IRM partners and external centers of influence to ensure integrated client development and compliant portfolio management while supporting Premier Banking program implementation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience and related training.
  • •Minimum of five years of financial services experience working with clients dealing with banking, investments, and/or retail lending, or one year in a financial client relationship manager role.
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory, insurance, investment management, asset allocation concepts, and retail credit and traditional retail banking products for mass affluent clients.
  • •Maintain or obtain within 100–150 days: SIE, FINRA Series 7, and FINRA Series 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66), plus applicable insurance licenses (Life, Health, Variable). Maintain SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliance and applicable NMLS background check.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship management skills.
