Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure audit assignments are completed on time and efficiently, aligned with GBL INA standards, industry best practices, and the risk/regulatory environment.
  • •Provide specialist advice on audit findings and recommendations so they are understood and properly implemented by management.
  • •Lead Traded Risk audits by reviewing market risk and counterparty credit risk management and control activities, including risk limit setting, reporting, monitoring, stress testing, and traded risk internal models.
  • •Lead review of Second Line of Defence controls for Treasury Risks (IRRBB, Capital Risk, Banking book FX, Liquidity risk), including key metrics reporting, behavioural models, risk appetite, and ICAAP/ILAAP.
  • •Identify and assess regulatory developments and review implementation of regulatory initiatives through audit projects and continuous monitoring with stakeholders and data analytics specialists.

Key Requirements

  • •A thorough understanding of the Traded Risk function, including governance, control framework, and model methodology for market risk and counterparty credit risk.
  • •Preferably knowledge of Fixed Income, FX, Equities, Credit, and xVA.
  • •Preferably experience working in Market Risk and/or Counterparty Credit Risk environments.
  • •Ability to work flexible hours from time to time depending on team members’ geographic locations.
  • •Good written and verbal communication, with business partnering and consulting-type skills to review issues with senior stakeholders.
