Job Summary

Lead a team building predictive AI/ML models that determine how HBM is screened, dispositioned, and tested in high-volume manufacturing. Own the end-to-end lifecycle for yield, defect escape, and reliability risk models—training, validation, deployment, drift control, and monitoring. Prototype scalable data pipelines and productionize machine learning for engineering decision support, collaborating across product, test, yield, data science, IT, and manufacturing to improve quality, cost, cycle time, and productivity.
Location: Singapore
Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
Seniority: Manager level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team of engineers: set technical direction, review modeling work, balance workload across a shifting portfolio, and hire/onboard to raise the technical bar.
  • •Own the design, training, validation, and productization of predictive models for yield loss, defect escapes, and reliability risk using ML/advanced analytics methods.
  • •Build and operate the model lifecycle in production, including real-time and batch inference, storage, performance monitoring, drift detection, retraining triggers, feature change management, and rollback.
  • •Develop and productionize ML/deep learning models for classification, regression, anomaly detection, and engineering decision support.
  • •Create scalable data pipelines and analytical workflows to ingest, clean, transform, and analyze large heterogeneous manufacturing and engineering datasets; communicate model outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 5 years of hands-on machine learning, data science, or predictive-modeling experience, including at least 2 years leading a team of engineers/data scientists as a people manager or technical lead.
  • •Strong depth in gradient-boosted tree methods (e.g., XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost) applied to production problems, including feature engineering, class imbalance handling, tuning, calibration, threshold selection, and interpretability.
  • •Practical experience with time-series/temporal modeling (forecasting, trend/change-point detection, rolling-window features, temporal cross-validation, and distribution-drift detection).
  • •Strong programming proficiency in Python and SQL, plus production experience deploying ML models with monitoring and retraining (including at least one case where live behavior diverged from offline results).
