Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead sourcing, negotiation, and contracting for transportation modes (truck and rail) and warehousing, including SLAs, performance remedies, and accessorial and fuel surcharge terms.
  • •Develop and execute sourcing strategies for U.S. domestic truck carriers and third-party warehousing providers (contract warehousing, overflow, short-term storage).
  • •Manage budgeting, freight cost forecasting, and savings pipeline development for transportation and warehousing categories.
  • •Lead bidding events, evaluate proposals, facilitate legal reviews, finalize agreements, and maintain transportation and warehousing contracts in SAP Ariba.
  • •Run supplier business reviews (QBRs/MBRs), track carrier performance, ensure safety/regulatory/trade compliance, and partner with Logistics, Operations, Finance, and Risk to mitigate operational and market risk.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • •Minimum 3 years of logistics or procurement experience in a multinational environment, freight forwarding.
  • •Experience managing OTR transportation and/or warehousing procurement.
  • •Strong data analytics abilities using SAP S/4HANA or other ERP systems and advanced Excel.
  • •Familiarity with transportation of regulated and non-regulated goods (ground, rail, ocean, air).
