Design, develop, and manage manufacturing controls systems across Anduril factories, from factory ideation through machine commissioning and proof of rate capability. •Design, develop, and manage manufacturing controls systems from factory ideation and machine commissioning through hand-off to sustainment teams.
•Architect, write, and debug PLC code that is organized, structured, documented, maintainable, and reusable for high-volume manufacturing.
•Generate and enforce internal standards for control system architectures, regulatory compliance, and safety buyoffs.
•Integrate internal and external FactoryOS software into automation equipment and production lines.
•Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation failures to ensure rapid resolution and long-term reliability; tune and configure servo drives/VFDs and troubleshoot equipment issues to reduce downtime.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar field.
•8+ years of experience in controls and automation in a production environment.
•Strong PLC programming skills on both Rockwell and Siemens platforms.
•Proficiency in Ignition SCADA development.
•Proficiency in servo drive and VFD configuration (including PID tuning, STO/SS) and strong ethernet-based communication protocol knowledge.
