Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the Server Platform Debug Steering Forum end to end, including agenda, prioritization, technical reviews, decisions, and follow-through.
  • •Maintain a single source of truth for debug execution (issue inventory, severity/priority, technical owners, hypotheses, next steps, and expected closure dates).
  • •Ensure technical owners drive root cause and closure; identify stalled or circular investigations and escalate with a clear ask.
  • •Coordinate required resources to sustain debug momentum, including system/board availability, instrumentation, lab/bench time, silicon samples, and SME access across firmware, SI/PI, thermal, and validation.
  • •Publish recurring debug status to program and engineering leadership and capture/debug learnings and triage best practices across programs.

Key Requirements

  • •Working foundation in server platform or SOC debug, including interpreting triage updates and failure signatures.
  • •Ability to assess whether debug issues are credible and challenge stalled root-cause paths.
  • •Strong communication skills to summarize deeply technical status for executive audiences.
  • •Direct exposure to server platform, SOC, or board-level debug (e.g., boot failures, signal integrity, memory training, thermal, power sequencing, firmware-related issues).
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (desired).
