Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and review secondary systems and protection schemes for transmission and distribution projects.
  • •Produce technical documentation including design reports, equipment specifications, cable schedules, and interface documents.
  • •Apply knowledge of primary substation elements, transmission lines, underground cables, and earthing design.
  • •Support Owner’s Engineer and Technical Due Diligence scopes for high-voltage work.
  • •Lead or support design projects, coordinate across disciplines, and complete short-term site visits as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •2-10 years’ experience delivering transmission and distribution projects (ideally in consultancy).
  • •Knowledge of EHV/HV electrical engineering from concept through detailed design.
  • •Strong secondary design experience across protection, control, AC/DC systems, and SCADA.
  • •RPEQ/RPEV (or ability to attain) and knowledge of IEC 61850 is highly desirable.
