Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain process instruments, controls, computers, PLCs, and electrical systems at the Newton facility.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair electric, electronic, and control circuitry and related power equipment (motors, breakers, transformers, power supplies, generators).
  • •Perform process instrumentation calibration and repair.
  • •Interpret drawings and instruction manuals and perform rigging as necessary to move, lift, and position heavy equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology or equivalent completion of an approved apprenticeship program.
  • •4+ years of experience in instrument and electrical maintenance in a power plant or heavy industry (power plant experience preferred).
  • •Working knowledge of mathematics and physics.
  • •Ability to provide documentation supporting instrument and electrical experience.
  • •Basic computer skills for use with a computer-based maintenance system, plus ability to work shifts/overtime and in heights/enclosed spaces.
