Job Summary

Deliver accurate financial information and business insights for the Japan Domestic Market to local and regional management. Serve as a business partner to Supply Chain, HR, and Accounting teams, supporting financial reporting, planning, and analysis including rolling forecasts and monthly P&L narratives. Build and maintain analysis on COGS and SG&A performance using existing BI tools, with a strong focus on integrity and efficient operations.

•Lead/support financial reporting, planning, and analysis, including ad-hoc projects and support to the Head of Business Analysis.
•Submit and communicate financial information (Volume, P&L) to local and regional management and prepare monthly P&L reporting/analysis and consolidated narratives.
•Partner with Supply Chain Management to apply financial expertise to product flow and COGS topics including SKU registration, transfer price, tax and duties, and distribution costs.
•Collaborate with HR and Accounting to document and produce SG&A analysis including payroll & benefits, travel & entertainment, and other SG&A.

Key Requirements

•At least 2-3 years of experience in Finance/Corporate Planning (FP&A) or Accounting, with exposure to budgeting and P&L and/or cash flow reporting.
•Strong finance expertise with P&L experience required (cash-flow experience a plus).
•Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ERP skills are desirable.
•Ability to produce structured reporting from large volumes of data and work effectively in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
•Excellent business-level Japanese and English (speaking and writing), plus excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Japan and multinational culture.
