Lead the hotel’s public relations and marketing strategy to raise brand awareness for Kempinski Capitol Singapore. Key Responsibilities

•Develop annual Public Relations and Marketing plan with specific goals and budget as outlined in the hotel’s strategic marketing plan and the group’s Public Relations and Marketing plan. Prepare roadmap to achieve goals, as well as update and adjust plans according to market situation and ensure the communications team is fully briefed on goals and progress.
•Pitch, and secure local story placements for the hotel and on behalf of the Kempinski brand. Develop customized story pitches based upon media needs and handle reactive media relations in a timely manner and within 24 hours. Distribute newsworthy hotel press releases to local media, regional Public Relations offices and Corporate Public Relations for onward media distribution.
•Create and organize appropriate press activities in accordance with the annual communications plan. Conduct press blitzes when appropriate.
•Act as the official spokesperson for the hotel when appropriate and handle crisis media communications with support and guidance from Corporate communications.
•Direct photography for editorial and advertising purposes in liaison with the Director of Sales & Marketing, advertising agency and corporate brand marketing.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Hospitality Management
•Minimum 5 years in a similar capacity
•Copywriting skills
•Experience developing and analyzing marketing campaigns
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and creative tools such as Photoshop and InDesign, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
