Job Summary

Assist the Plant Operator with daily production by operating a loader and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Ramp stock piles and load customers on time, help during breakdowns, and maintain cleanliness around the plant. Perform basic lubrication and general maintenance on equipment, follow directions, and adhere strictly to safety procedures and company policies while supporting a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate a loader as the primary equipment and operate other heavy equipment as needed by the job site.
•Ramp stock piles and load customers safely and in a timely fashion.
•Assist during equipment breakdowns and support plant operations.
•Clean up around the plant and surrounding area.
•Lubricate and perform general maintenance on equipment.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training (or equivalent combination).
•Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; able to complete routine paperwork.
•Ability to perform basic math (add/subtract two-digit numbers; multiply/divide with 10s and 100s) and use units of money, weight, volume, and distance.
•Ability to lift and/or move more than 25 pounds and meet the physical demands of the role.
•Strict adherence to safety requirements and company policies; willing to travel, work nights/weekends, and maintain regular attendance.
