Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute data governance strategies aligned with business transformation objectives, improving operational efficiency and simplification.
  • •Partner with business and data leadership to define and operationalize the strategic roadmap for master data governance at source in ERP, including key data quality metrics and adoption.
  • •Establish operational cadence to track and report on data quality and compliance against standards, processes, and policies.
  • •Oversee MDG blueprint, design, and implementation across functions, aligning deployment goals with SAP and S/4 enterprise architecture and business objectives.
  • •Manage MDG integration across upstream and downstream systems, including vendor, license, and external consultant relationships, and coordinate change management with stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience with Master and Reference Data model in an SAP environment, including deployment of MDG in S/4.
  • •In-depth understanding of Master Data Governance frameworks with experience deploying MDG for medium to large companies.
  • •Strong knowledge of data quality frameworks, metadata management, and data lifecycle management.
  • •Experience with master data hubs, data modeling, workflow design, and data replication techniques.
  • •Ability to identify data migration bottlenecks, security compliance issues, and system downtime risks early.
