Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to design, coding, testing, operability, and quality assurance for SAP Data Accelerator and BDFS platform capabilities.
  • •Assess and solve issues in existing and new code with focus on reliability and efficiency.
  • •Develop integration and connector capabilities using ABAP and Java, including secure, scalable partner connectivity patterns.
  • •Drive platform decisions balancing security, scalability, operability, and product evolution across current and future phases.
  • •Help build PoCs, evaluate technical options, and mentor/guidance within the agile Scrum team.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced ABAP development expertise including ABAP OO, ABAP RAP, and modern ABAP development practices.
  • •Strong programming fundamentals with knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and runtime complexity (Big-O).
  • •Hands-on experience across the ABAP development lifecycle: design, implementation, unit and integration testing, transport management, and production deployment.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot complex backend issues spanning ABAP code, NetWeaver infrastructure, and data extraction pipelines.
  • •Experience with SAP integration and extraction interfaces such as RFC/BAPI, IDoc processing, OData services (SEGW and RAP), and SAP extraction frameworks (LO Cockpit, DataSources, BW extractors).
