Key Responsibilities

•Operate, maintain, and optimize scientific computing environments on Linux/RedHat, including HPC clusters and scheduling systems.
•Develop and maintain legacy codebases, new codebases, and automation scripts.
•Troubleshoot and resolve issues for scientific computing applications, including installation, dependency management, and performance.
•Apply ITIL processes in daily operations (incident/change/problem management) and improve incident resolution quality via analysis.
•Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and provide day-to-day production support through incident/event and alert management.

Key Requirements

•8+ years working in IT on Linux environments (RHEL) with development experience.
•Strong Linux/RedHat system administration for installing and managing scientific computing applications, including performance analysis and debugging.
•Hands-on experience installing, configuring, tuning, and troubleshooting Linux scheduler platforms.
•Experience with automation using Bash and Python.
•Knowledge of compute resource management and parallel processing concepts (MPI, multithreading, multiprocessing).
