Key Responsibilities

  • •Research, design, develop, and/or test operating-systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for semiconductor operations.
  • •Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software for enhancements and new semiconductor products.
  • •Develop software and tools supporting electronic design, infrastructure, and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, and databases.
  • •Use system architecture and benchmarks to analyze performance and code optimization, including GPU/software performance analysis.
  • •Determine hardware compatibility and influence hardware design; drive technically significant projects with independent technical judgment.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • •3 years of experience in the job offered or a closely related engineering role.
  • •Alternate option: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in a related field plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience.
  • •Experience with system architecture and running, analyzing, and benchmarking systems.
  • •Hands-on programming and environments including Python, C/C++, and Unix/Linux; experience with CPU/GPU architecture and GPU programming.
