Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, validate, and execute high-fidelity numerical models to predict and optimize acoustic performance across product components and systems.
  • •Run computational aero-acoustics simulations and analyze flow-induced noise and turbulence-driven acoustic phenomena.
  • •Perform structural dynamics and vibro-acoustics analysis using FEM/BEM to assess structure-borne noise and vibration propagation.
  • •Standardize and commonize acoustics simulation methodologies globally while collaborating with international design centers on workflows and standards.
  • •Correlate simulation results with experimental testing data and provide actionable, physics-based design recommendations early in development.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree (M.S./M.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Acoustics, or a related discipline.
  • •3–5+ years of hands-on industrial experience in acoustics modeling and simulation.
  • •Ability to perform aero-/vibro-acoustics simulations with emphasis on fan/blowers, with depth in CFD or FEA.
  • •Hands-on experience with acoustics/CFD/FEA tools including Actran, ANSYS Mechanical, Fluent, CFX, or Simcenter.
  • •Strong knowledge of acoustics and numerical methods, plus strong teamwork and project management skills.
