Job Summary

Drive a disciplined growth framework for the Mining & Metals business, owning pipeline performance and business development effectiveness. Serve as a key extension of the Director–Clients and Growth by improving accountability, reporting pipeline visibility, and strengthening opportunity identification, qualification, and progression. Oversee strategic pursuits and major bids, lead Go/No-Go and pursuit reviews, and build business development capability through coaching and continuous improvement. Support priority client growth and cross-service collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead pipeline governance across Mining & Metals, with accountability for Mining and Metals West and Mine Advisory.
•Maintain and report a high-quality pipeline with visibility of opportunities, forecasts, conversion assumptions, risks, and gaps.
•Oversee prioritisation, governance, and execution of strategic pursuits and major bids, including Go/No-Go decisions and pursuit reviews.
•Develop and deliver business development capability initiatives, including coaching and training for client-facing leaders and teams.
•Support priority client and market growth strategies, facilitate cross-service collaboration, and ensure compliance with governance, risk management, and business systems.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
•Business development, client management, or pursuit management training (desirable).
•Demonstrated experience in business development, growth leadership, client engagement, or strategic pursuits in a professional services environment.
•Strong understanding of the Mining & Metals sector and project delivery environment.
•Proven capability in pipeline management, strategic pursuits, bid governance, and growth strategy execution, with strong stakeholder, influencing, and analytical skills.
