Job Summary

Perform a variety of construction labor tasks to support highway, utility, grade crews, and on-site plant operations. Duties include preparing road and utility work areas, setting up safety barriers, assisting with asphalt and concrete work, installing and adjusting water and manhole components, guiding pipe placement, and helping operate equipment when trained. You’ll also support crusher and plant labor activities such as maintenance, clean-up, material handling, and participation in safety meetings.

Job Function: Laboratory & Clinical Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Safely perform highway labor duties such as preparing ground surfaces, removing debris, and setting string markers and safety barriers.
•Assist with asphalt work including shoveling/raking asphalt, leveling, digging out buried manhole covers and valve boxes, and cleaning tools.
•Perform utility and grade labor such as preparing trenches, digging up and connecting pipes, guiding pipe placement, setting up laser equipment, and cutting concrete as needed.
•Support crusher and plant labor activities including machinery set up/take down, basic maintenance/repairs, equipment operation when trained, and keeping work areas clean.
•Participate in required safety/THINK/TRACK meetings and assist with job site clean-up and traffic/flagging as needed.
