Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and analyze security events across customer environments to identify anomalous activity and investigate real-time alerts.
  • •Prioritize and triage alerts to differentiate genuine intrusion attempts from false positives, evaluating suspicious behavior to determine threat status.
  • •Contain, eradicate, and mitigate incidents with clear communication to customers.
  • •Refine detection by reviewing security events and data sources to develop and improve detection criteria and support malware analysis.
  • •Compose alert notifications with investigation findings and recommendations, and generate threat intelligence to identify patterns and trends.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
  • •1–2 years in a full-time security position, preferably in a SOC or security monitoring environment.
  • •Experience with log analysis, event correlation, and understanding of host/network log sources, including SIEM familiarity.
  • •Working knowledge of Windows and Linux environments and the ability to identify suspicious system behavior.
  • •Experience investigating and prioritizing real-time alerts, distinguishing signal from noise, and familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK.
