Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan subsurface investigations including drilling exploration boreholes, advancing CPTs, and performing other onsite geotechnical tests.
  • •Review and assess soil and rock samples for laboratory testing.
  • •Plan and supervise inspection of construction activities to monitor progress and conformance to engineering plans, specifications and construction standards.
  • •Perform engineering analyses including slope stability, seepage, settlement, earth retention, liquefaction, and shallow and deep foundations.
  • •Perform seismic stability and deformation analyses of dams, including earthquake ground motions, liquefaction potential, and earthquake-induced and fault-Induced deformations.
Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 135,000 - 180,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 6+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education
  • •Preferred: 10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience; Master’s degree in Geotechnical, Civil or related field; California Professional Engineer (PE) license; Excellent written and verbal communication skills
