Key Responsibilities

  • •Case manage litigated RTA suspected fraud files from litigation through resolution, handling cases non-delegated under client guidelines.
  • •Review and analyze evidence throughout the case, set and agree case strategy, and identify strategic litigation opportunities and complex matters.
  • •Ensure compliance with work-type process stages and all procedural/investigative deadlines, including court timetable adherence.
  • •Provide cost-effective advocacy where required and liaise with insurer and other stakeholders to carry out agreed investigations.
  • •Maintain case management systems accurately from opening to closure, meet MI and KPI targets, and handle timely billing.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in civil litigation claims handling as a legal file handler or suitably qualified (ILEX, LPC etc.).
  • •Experience handling linked and organised fraud (desirable).
  • •Experience managing RTA pre-litigated and/or litigated case loads.
  • •Understanding of insurance litigation practice and processes, including indemnity principles, with working knowledge of the CPR.
  • •Strong advocacy, client care, analytical evidence-handling skills, and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
