Key Responsibilities

  • •Own accounting and reporting for Global Payments entities in APAC, including Singapore entities.
  • •Post journal entries to support smooth monthly and quarterly closings; prepare trial balances and financial statements on time.
  • •Perform monthly account reconciliations and related activities.
  • •Coordinate external auditors for annual financial audits and statutory reporting; manage the full audit cycle to meet deadlines.
  • •Provide financial data for tax submissions, government declarations, and cross-department reporting, and support system enhancements and process improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • •Extensive experience in payments/financial institutions, including SEA accounting and reporting, or financial and compliance reporting in payments, fintech, banking, or consumer finance.
  • •Familiarity with seller finance, Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL), and other credit businesses and related accounting assessments.
  • •Experience with month-end closing, analytical reviews, preparing full sets of accounts, and supporting financial and compliance reporting.
  • •Knowledge of tax requirements, SEA regulatory compliance, and financial internal controls, plus experience implementing systems and optimizing processes.
