Job Summary

Data Platform Engineer specializing in Order-to-Cash (OTC) Revenue Transformation will own and evolve the end-to-end billing, revenue and business data pipeline, from usage metering to revenue reporting, working across Engineering, Finance, and Data to ensure accurate, auditable and SOX-ready data across multiple revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities

•Own and enhance billing infrastructure: pricing models, usage ingestion, invoicing, and revenue workflows.
•Integrate billing with ERP, payments, and cloud marketplaces for an automated invoice-to-ledger pipeline.
•Build and maintain an end-to-end OTC data pipeline (usage → billing → payments → revenue → GL → reporting).
•Implement deferred revenue and prepaid amortization across all billing models and ensure data quality, auditability, and SOX-ready controls.
•In Phase 2, build autonomous enterprise agents to automate OTC operations, including anomaly detection, reconciliation, revenue recognition, and forecasting.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 175,000 - 220,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years in billing engineering, revenue systems, or order-to-cash operations at a SaaS or usage-based platform company.
•Strong SQL and BigQuery proficiency — design schemas, write complex analytical queries, build dbt models, and maintain production data pipelines.
•Proficiency in Python or Node.js for building integrations, data transforms, and automation scripts.
•Working knowledge of accounting systems (QuickBooks or NetSuite) and mapping billing events to GL journal entries, sub-ledger reconciliation, and month-end close.
•Experience with Billing Systems, ERP, AWS, and Kubernetes (K8), cloud marketplaces billing
