  • •Own and deliver quarterly goals for the team, leading engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems.
  • •Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics across the product development lifecycle to articulate technical constraints and consider risks and trade-offs.
  • •Proactively identify project, process, technology, or business issues, advocate for them, and lead solutions.
  • •Support operations and availability by creating and monitoring metrics, escalating when needed, and participating in keep-the-lights-on on-call efforts.
  • •Foster a culture of quality and ownership by setting/improving code review and design standards and helping develop team talent through feedback and guidance.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years developing and architecting mobile applications, preferably with React Native and declarative UI frameworks.
  • •Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, or a track record working with similar languages and learning new technologies.
  • •Experience defining technical plans for significant features or system components with elegant, extensible design and high-quality, maintainable code.
  • •Proficiency making significant changes in a large code base, including building tools and practices to do so safely.
  • •Strong verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated sense of ownership through proactive feedback and growth.
