Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute projects across system design, programming, factory testing, and modification of automated control and power management systems.
  • •Develop complex drawings and bills of materials based on established switchboard designs.
  • •Create, modify, test, and deploy software for PLCs, ATCs, and HMI software for automatic power transfer applications.
  • •Prepare customer submittals, including sequence of operation (SOO) and test procedures.
  • •Perform factory testing and debugging, troubleshooting wiring and safety circuits, and support field start-ups if required.

Key Requirements

  • •2-year technical degree or similar experience in military training.
  • •Minimum 1 year of controls experience in power distribution applications or 2 years in other applications.
  • •Knowledge of power distribution (switchgears and switchboards) and control systems.
  • •Working knowledge of HMI (Human Machine Interface) software and power monitoring software packages.
  • •Ability to comply with Eaton safety program and role-applicable EESS Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) requirements and recertifications.
