Job Summary

Govern and provide independent quality assurance for the organization’s IT Change Management process in an ITIL-aligned environment. Review and validate change requests for risk assessment, impact analysis, testing, approvals, and rollback/back-out readiness. Monitor governance and escalation adherence, perform audits and quality reviews, oversee post-implementation reviews, assess operational/technical/business risks, and ensure vendors comply. Deliver KPIs/dashboards and drive continuous improvements to enhance service stability and operational maturity.

Key Responsibilities

•Govern and provide independent quality assurance over IT changes across IT functions and external vendors.
•Ensure compliance with IT Change Management policies, governance standards, and ITIL best practices.
•Review change requests to verify categorization, risk assessment, impact analysis, testing, approvals, and implementation planning.
•Validate rollback/back-out procedures are documented and tested where required, and monitor change approval authorities and escalation procedures.
•Perform periodic audits/quality reviews, ensure PIR completion and lessons learned, assess risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
•Minimum 2 years of experience in IT Change Management, IT Service Management, IT Operations, or IT Project Management.
•ITIL Foundation certification is required or highly preferred.
•Strong understanding of IT Change Management processes within an ITIL environment.
•Experience using ITSM platforms such as Freshservice, ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, BMC Remedy, or equivalent.
