Job Summary

Manage day-to-day and 24/7 operational readiness of water, wastewater, and biogas systems, ensuring reliable plant performance, environmental compliance, and adherence to discharge standards. Lead foremen, operators, and technicians, oversee workforce planning, shift readiness, and emergency response, and drive process control, troubleshooting, and corrective/preventive actions. Support Ingredion Performance System (IPS) activities and maintain quality/food safety standards across ISO and HACCP-based requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead water, wastewater treatment, and biogas operations to ensure reliable performance and environmental compliance.
•Supervise daily operations including workforce planning, shift readiness, and emergency response, ensuring SOP and procedural adherence.
•Drive process control, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions for abnormal conditions.
•Support Ingredion Performance System (IPS) activities including tier meetings, RCA/FCA, KPI scorecard progress, and utility optimization.
•Maintain quality, food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards and control utilities-related direct and indirect costs.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or a related field in wastewater treatment.
•3–5 years of experience in wastewater treatment plant operations or water/wastewater/biogas processes.
•Strong understanding of water treatment, wastewater process control, biogas processes, environmental regulations, and discharge standards.
•Experience supervising operators and technicians to plan, monitor, and control operations to meet KPIs.
•Knowledge of food safety and quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, HACCP, GHPs, FSSC 22000, Halal, Kosher).
