Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, implement, and continuously improve the facility’s safety management systems.
  • •Partner with plant leadership to set and execute strategic safety objectives aligned with company goals.
  • •Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations, including maintaining OSHA logs and records and coordinating OSHA inspection follow-ups.
  • •Analyze incident trends, investigate incidents/near-misses, and drive corrective and preventive actions to reduce risk and improve safety performance.
  • •Develop and deliver safety training and conduct safety audits/field inspections to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business Administration, Management, or a related field (or an equivalent education/experience combination).
  • •Minimum 3 years of progressive EHS leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or food production.
  • •Experience leading safety programs, compliance initiatives, investigations, and employee training.
  • •Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and experience with hazard communication, accident investigation, risk assessment, and safety management systems.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to present, communicate, and lead effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
