Job Summary

Provide analytical support for underwriting and analyzing commercial credit facilities, including financial statement interpretation for complex C&I and commercial real estate loans. Maintain credit documentation in the commercial loan system, including requests, renewals, annual reviews, and covenant monitoring, while completing industry research and applying bank credit policy. Partner with Portfolio and Relationship Managers to prepare credit approval materials, track portfolio performance, and communicate material trends and changes to internal stakeholders and clients.

Key Responsibilities

•Interpret financial statements and provide financial analysis support for underwriting C&I and commercial real estate loans.
•Perform credit analysis tasks such as financial statement spreading, preparing analysis documents, updating requests, and completing annual reviews in the commercial loan system.
•Track and complete covenant monitoring and perform industry research while building understanding of the commercial loan policy.
•Analyze and prepare credit approval documentation, accurately reflecting loan terms, collateral, covenants, loan grade inputs, policy exceptions, and calculating credit exposure.
•Partner with Portfolio Managers to monitor assigned loan portfolios and identify/report material trends or changes in borrowers or guarantors.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience.
•1–2 years of experience related to Financial Services, Banking, Credit Analysis, Loan Review, or similar.
•Experience as a Credit Analyst II or equivalent role is preferred.
•Fundamental understanding of general bank operations and the commercial lending process.
•Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
