Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with Account Managers and Energy Engineers to diagnose energy opportunities and support small energy projects for customer facilities.
  • •Provide technical analysis/review, including project risk assessment and assistance with preliminary audits, benchmarking, site surveys, and interviews.
  • •Shadow and perform building walk-throughs to identify energy conservation measures across architectural, mechanical, and electrical systems in commercial facilities.
  • •Analyze data outputs for trends or deviations requiring further investigation and develop benchmark summary reports on building/system performance.
  • •Collaborate on reporting capabilities, including software and usability improvements, and support measurement & verification methods during acquisition.

Key Requirements

  • •Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering (preferred: Energy, Mechanical, or Electrical) throughout the internship, with at least sophomore/2nd year completed before it starts.
  • •Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •Possess a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and be able to provide proof of insurance.
  • •Have no major or frequent traffic violations, including DUI within the previous 3 years (and other listed serious driving issues).
  • •Be available for the posting’s work arrangement (some roles may be remote while others require hybrid or onsite facility assignment across North America).
