Own category strategy and supplier performance for Motors within the Procurement team for the Americas. Serve as a procurement SME by staying current on market trends, regulations, and conditions, and partnering cross-functionally across engineering, operations, quality, and Europe/Asia counterparts. •Develop and execute detailed category strategy, including expanding the Preferred Supplier Program and segmentation based on business needs.
•Partner with business unit Procurement teams to transition suppliers and support NPD procurement teams through preferred supplier programs.
•Manage contract lifecycle and compliance, ensure supply continuity, and deliver total value via RFx activities for supplier selection and negotiation.
•Monitor and mitigate supplier risk across geopolitical, financial, capacity, quality, and compliance dimensions.
•Oversee Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and regular supplier reviews to meet Quality/Cost/Delivery targets; drive category productivity through price/value analysis or continuous improvement projects.

Key Requirements

•Demonstrated success assessing, negotiating, and managing suppliers.
•Collaborative communication and conflict resolution skills to influence in a highly matrixed environment.
