Job Summary

Analyze and process Currency Transaction Report (CTR) alerts and daily transaction reports to support BSA/AML compliance. Ensure timely, accurate CTR filings for cash transactions over $10,000, review activity for potential structuring and escalate for SAR consideration, and support exempt designations/DOEP reviews. Work with branch personnel to resolve discrepancies, maintain CTR-related data, and stay current on BSA/AML and regulatory requirements while adhering to confidentiality and information security standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze CTR alerts from the anti-money laundering monitoring system and daily transaction reports to detect potentially reportable activity.
•Ensure timely, accurate, and complete filing of Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) in compliance with regulatory requirements.
•Review customer and transaction activity for potentially suspicious activity, including structuring, and escalate for possible SAR consideration when appropriate.
•Recommend CTR exempt designations and assist with preparation and filing of Designations of Exempt Persons (DOEP), including periodic reviews.
•Correspond with branch personnel to resolve discrepancies and obtain required or supplemental information; maintain confidentiality and adhere to data privacy and information security standards.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
•Minimum one year of BSA banking experience, including branch/platform experience and knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act requirements.
•Working knowledge of BSA/AML and the ability to apply regulatory concepts to explain findings and decisions.
•Ability to independently work with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
•Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong documentation skills.
