Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement the DP World Canada Freight Forwarding strategy, including logistic parks, NVOCC/3PL, short sea shipping, and the full product offering.
  • •Develop and sell the Freight Forwarding service across Canada and add value to customers while supporting Port and Terminal businesses.
  • •Engage with cargo owners to ensure strong relationship management through face-to-face customer interactions.
  • •Discover and analyze new business operations, assess contribution, and coordinate resources to implement new services.
  • •Assess financial/economic issues to identify trade opportunities and risks and support pricing structures and financial models.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in business, commerce, or a related field with knowledge of economics and quantitative analysis.
  • •Minimum 5 years of general management experience from another 3PL with an NVOCC license is an asset.
  • •Successful management of key stakeholder relationships, including shareholders and external government agencies.
  • •Proven business acumen with experience managing and understanding complex commercial contracts.
  • •Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, including knowledge of business metrics and financial basics.
