Key Responsibilities

  • •Review, evaluate, and summarize risk exposures, controls, loss history, and financial condition to support underwriting decisions.
  • •Follow underwriter instructions for policy rating, subjective pricing, policy construction, coverages and exclusions, and mandatory forms to quote and issue policies.
  • •Provide account servicing support in collaboration with the underwriter and manager across new business, renewals, and endorsements for basic to moderately complex offerings.
  • •Respond to written, verbal, and telephone inquiries appropriately and on time under close supervision by the underwriter and/or manager.
  • •Support underwriter interactions with brokers/agents/distributors/customers using basic customer service skills.
Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 23.8 - 38.94 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with no prior experience in Administrative, Customer Service, Financial Services, Risk Management, or Insurance OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice (including Associate Degree) with no prior experience in those areas.
  • •High School Diploma or Equivalent plus 2+ years of experience in Administrative, Customer Service, Financial Services, Risk Management, or Insurance.
  • •Knowledge of data collection and analysis.
  • •Microsoft Office experience.
  • •Ability to effectively communicate through written, verbal, and telephone inquiries under close supervision.
