Key Responsibilities

  • •Represent commercial insureds in General Liability matters from investigation through trial, handling all phases of insurance defense litigation.
  • •Perform legal analysis, prepare pleadings, manage discovery, hearings, trials, settlement strategy, and post-trial activities.
  • •Mentor and collaborate with staff counsel, supporting broader team objectives and ethical standards.
  • •Manage caseloads, budgets, exposure analysis, and diary review with independent accountability.
  • •Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams to achieve favorable outcomes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 180,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctor and 7 or more years of litigation experience. Must be actively licensed to practice in Texas (Texas State Bar in good standing).
  • •Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe, Lexis, or Westlaw.
  • •Knowledge of insurance defense litigation, claims, and the insurance industry.
  • •Strong case analysis, negotiation, settlement, and trial skills with the ability to work independently and mentor others.
  • •Ability to manage caseloads, budgets, exposure analysis, billables, and diary review independently.
